Tomas “Tommy” Martinez

Born May 10, 1958 / Died June 22, 2024

Born in East Chicago, Indiana. Preceded in death by parents Ignacio D Martinez & Maria T Martinez (nee Villarreal), brother Alfred Cadena (Iris), sister Rosalinda Navejar (Kenny), nephews JC, Luis, Damone JR and Adrian. 

 Survived by brothers & sisters Eliseo Martinez (Alicia), Elvira Martinez, Pilar Martinez (Perla), Martha Calderon, Nacho Martinez (Mary Ellen C), Lupe Martinez (Esther), Carmen Zdanys (Rich), Velia Martinez, Lilia Cardenas (Ruben), Angelica Rodriguez (Ramiro). Many nephews & nieces, great nephews & nieces, great great nephews & nieces. 
Tommy loved to dance, especially to Tejano music, and spend time with family.He made each nephew & niece feel special. He loved them all as if they were his own. We will miss his laugh, his smile, his kindness.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 27th from 4-8pm at the Funeral Home.

Final Viewing will be Friday June 28th from 10-10:45 am at the Funeral Home.

Mass will be at 11am at St Casimir Church, Hammond.

Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary.
