Steven passed away Thursday, November 30th, 2023 at The University of Chicago Hospital.

Steven  was a graduate of Munster HS
Member of the swim team and concert/marching band
Graduate of Purdue W.L. with a
B.S. Actuarial Science and a
Masters in Statistics

He worked as an Inside sales engineer for an automation company
Enjoyed coin collecting, anything math, arcades and gaming tournaments and mini golfing with Mom

Survived by Mother Marge Balog, Aunt Ilene ( Mark)Eastwood and Uncle George (Lexy)Elliott
Cousins - Bobby (Elaine) Elliott, Virginia & Mary-Anne Hack, James & William Eastwood

Preceded in death by his Dad Michael, grandparents, Steve and Gertrude Balog & George & Anne Elliott, Uncles Bob & Joe Elliott

Michael was a

Graduate of Purdue - Mechanical Engineering

Worked at US Steel South Works and Electro Motive as a CNC Programmer

Was an avid golfer and fisherman.

A memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 2-4 pm at Acevez Funeral Home, 4404 Cameron Ave. Hammond , along with his father Michael .

A Prayer Service will begin at 2pm with Msgr. John J. Siekierski.

A private cremation was held at a prior date.
