Sharon L. Reeves

Sharon Lynn Reeves of Posen Illinois, aged 59, passed away Thursday January 29th, 2026.Sharon was born in Evergreen Park, Illinois, August 29th, 1966 to Lawrence and Mary Beth Reeves. She had 5 Siblings, James(Lisa) Reeves, Mary Kay Toland, Karen Gumbel, Robert(Nikki) Reeves, and Bridget Dorsey.

Sharon enjoyed playing Yahtzee and Rummy, and listening to all types of music. With the most important thing to Sharon being her family, but even more than that her kids. Becky, Matt, and Lizzy were always on the forefront of her mind. Many times she would call just for a quick "Hey, Hey, Hey." and to see how they were doing. If any one knew her, you could count on her phone calls even when others were usually sleeping. She was a kind, caring, and giving person who always put the needs of her family first. She strong and had a lot of courage despite all the challenges she experienced in life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Sharon is Survived by: her mother, Mary Beth Reeves; Children, Rebecca(Victor Hatcher)Reeves, Matthew(Leann) Reeves, and Elizabeth Solis; her Grandchildren, Xavier, Johnnie, Matthias, and Jocelyn, her siblings, and several Nieces and Nephews. 

She was proceeded in death by her Father, Lawrence Reeves; Sister, Mary Kay Toland; nieces, Katheryn Gumbel, and Lisa Toland; and great-nephew Brandon Weglarz.
