Rita M. Torres EAST CHICAGO, IN - Rita M. Torres age 43 of East Chicago, IN passed away Sunday November 4, 2018. She is survived by daughter Desiree, grandson Pablo, brothers Jesse J. (Patricia) Torres, Ricardo (Nancy) Torres of East Chicago; sister Christina Nixon of Hammond, IN. She had many nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by daughter Maria Evajelina Torres, parents Jesse T. and Julia L. Tor res. She was a loving, caring, generous sister, mother, grandmother and will be dearly missed. Visitation will be Friday November 9, 2018 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. WITH A PRAYER SERVICE AT 6:30 p.m. with Msgr. John J. Siekierski officiating
A private cremation will follow services on Friday.
