Rachel L Corral

Rachel (nee Denham) Corral age 60, passed away at St. Catherine Hospital on June 21, 2020. She was born March 31, 1960 in East Chicago, IN. Rachel lived an upbeat life with a smile that never left her face.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. For those who knew her, will always remember her hilarious personality, even when she wasn't trying to be.

She is survived by her husband Inocente Corral Daughter’s Lisa Cuevas, Amber Vargas-Perez (Rudy), and Jessica Vargas (Mike). Grandchildren Janessa, Yasmine, Jacob, Amaria, Giselle, Kenny, and McKenna Great grandchild Addy 1 niece Isabel and 3 nephews Norberto, Manuel, and Michael Vargas

Rachel was a very friendly, kind, and gentle person who loved life and loved just talking to people. Family was always a priority, making every moment memorable to all. She will be deeply missed.

Due to the current health situation Rachel’s Family has requested that Face Masks be required and please refrain from hugging and touching.

Yes Rachael was a VERY kind, sweet person. Waiting outside to enter school we talked many times.

Rachel, thank you for always being so kind to me and giving me advice on everything I needed to hear. Always uplifting me when I was not doing the best and being a good mother/friend to myself. You and chente always made me feel like family in your home and I will forever treasure your loving heart.

I'm so sorry to hear your no longer with us. You was truly like a second mother to me growing up. And dont think I forgot any of the long conversations we would have. Thank you for trying to keep me straight. It took awhile but I finally got it right. I truly wish I could've thanked you one last time. You had a heart of Gold and I will cherish all the memories I have with you. Rest in Peace mama Queen. Love you always.
