Miguel A. Mendez Jr. departed on January 11, 2021 to reunite with his father Miguel Angel Mendez. He is survived by his mother, Efigenia Cholula, his loving wife of 23 years Lupita Martinez, and their two boys, Nico and Joaquin Mendez.
Miguel was the depiction of what a family man should be. He was a great husband, father, son and brother. We were blessed to have a hard working, funny, sarcastic, joker, the life of the party and best handyman around.
The love he always had for his family is unlike any other. You can always find him in the stands cheering and supporting not only his boys but also his nieces and nephews, being their number one fan.
He loved to dance cumbias, watching the Simpsons and football. Bringing family together was one of his best qualities, and he did it by putting barbeques together or planning family vacations. He will be missed.
He will be remembered by his two brothers Gerardo (Guadalupe) Mendez and Feliciano (Maria Guadalupe) Mendez. Three sisters Rosa (Francisco) Celis, Adamina (Pedro) Rangel, Heladia (Juan) Rivera and countless nieces and nephews.
