Marie Anne Sobkowicz

Marie Anne (Vicari) Sobkowicz East Chicago Anne M. Sobkowicz age 87 of East Chicago passed away June 16, 2017. She is survived by her three sons, Martin Sobkowicz of East Chicago, Michael (Karen Garza) Sobkowicz of Dyer, and Leonard A. (April) Sobkowicz of Highland. One sister Josephine (Larry) Raab, two brothers, Anthony (Sue) Vicari and Thomas (Marti) Vicari. Grandchildren Joshua Garza, Amber, Daniel, Ryan, and Allison Sobkowicz One Great granddaughter Dahlia Garza. And a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Leonard F. Sobkowicz, parents Tom and Mary Vicari, sister Virginia Vicari and two grandsons. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11 am from St. Stanislaus Church, 808, W. 150th St. East Chicago with Msgr. John J. Siekierski officiating. A viewing will be held 2 hours prior to Mass at 9am at the Church. Burial will follow at St. John St. Joseph Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana.
