On September 23rd, 1954, Jennie Rodriguez gave birth to beautiful baby girl in Mercy Hospital Gary, Indiana and named her Maria Victoria. She was raised alongside her 4 siblings which is Priscilla Garcia, John Ruiz, and Emeterio and Elias Rodriguez.  She then was a graduate at Holy Angels Catholic School and then attended Bishop Noll Institution (BNI). She was then blessed with 4 kids MayLee, Bruce, and Jennie Garcia and Maria Esperanza Segovia. She worked at Cintas and Empress Casino where she made countless friends and memories. Maria Victoria Segovia had the pleasure of being blessed with her soulmate Abraham Segovia and together they shared 26 beautiful years. She enjoyed being with friends and family, going on outings to concerts, dancing and listening to music, luncheons, shopping, art, makeup, fashion, getting her nails done, cooking, throwing parties, and sitting outside with family just talking and laughing together. A very important part of her life was her grandchildren. She always made it a point to share her wisdom with them and teach them life lessons. To everyone who knew her, she was always known as ChaCha. She adored Betty Boop and collected anything related to her that she could get her hands on.  If you ever see Betty Boop, you have to just smile and know she is there giving you a sign. ChaCha was a tough cookie with an amazing heart.  

On Wednesday, August 26th, 2026, at age 71, Maria was reunited with her mother Jennie Rodriguez, her brother Emeterio Rodriguez, her dog Pretty girl, and the Most High. Maria is survived by her husband, Abraham Segovia, her daughter, MayLee Garcia, Jasmine Starr (3), Charles (1), Angel Garcia Berrios, Julio Jr (4) and, Dajalee (1) Cartagena and Izaiah Horde, her son, Bruce Garcia, Bruce Garcia Jr (3), her daughter, Jennie Garcia (Ace), Leinayah (1), Jeniyah and Leo Portes, and her daughter and Best Friend, Maria Esperanza Segovia. She was also survived by her stepdaughter Missy Webb (Dave), Rachel Woolet (3), Brandi Kucinskas (4), her stepson, Michael Weis (Barbara), Seth Simpson (4), Andrew Weis (1) Cameron Weis (3), Brittany Wishnow (1), Brooklyn Mullinax, her stepdaughter, Michelle Williams, Chris Wardy (2), Ward Cardy (2), Ricky Williams, her stepson, Abraham Segovia Jr. (Brenda), Matthew Segovia (1) and Angel Segovia, her stepson Daniel Segovia (Jennifer), Elyse Jordyn Segovia (2), Faith B. Segovia (1), Grace Segovia, Isabella M. Segovia and her stepdaughter, Christina M. Segovia, Alyssa White and Destiny White (2). 

 CHACHA IS VERY LOVED AND WILL BE MISSED EVEN MORE. REST IN PARADISE FOREVER AND A DAY <3
