Linda Pleitner Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother
Linda Pleitner, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025. She was surrounded by her family, who were the center of her world.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Brian Pleitner, to whom she was married to for 48 wonderful years. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and adventure. They shared a deep passion for travel—spending countless cherished moments cruising the seas and exploring new places around the world. Their journeys were filled with discovery, joy, and a companionship that grew stronger with each passing year.
She was the proud and nurturing mother of Jennifer (Justin) Manford, Renee Pleitner (Don Skalka), Lisa Eslick, and Jessica (Keith) Pearsall, and the beloved grandmother of Edward DeMars, Cooper and Riley Eslick, and Madelynn and Noah Pearsall. Her presence in their lives was a constant source of warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love. She was also the sister of Michael Jakubczyk (Sylvia), Diane Markley, Robert Jakubczyk (Mimi), and Sharon Juranovich (John), the daughter-in-law of Floyd and Virigina Pleitner, and the caring aunt of many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her much loved parents, Matthew and Helen Jakubczyk, her in-laws Floyd and Virginia Pleitner, her brother, Michael Jakubczyk, and her daughter, Lisa Eslick, whose memory she carried in her heart every day.
Linda’s legacy is one of kindness, grace, and strength. She had a quiet but powerful way of making those around her feel seen and loved. Whether it was through a warm meal, a listening ear, or a heartfelt hug, she gave of herself freely and without reservation.
Her absence leaves an unfillable space in the hearts of those who knew her, but her spirit lives on in the stories shared, the values passed down, and the love she cultivated in her family and friends.
