Kathleen Ann Gross, born May 2, 1942, passed peacefully on June 13, 2026, leaving behind a tapestry of love and warmth intricately woven through the hearts of those who knew her. A woman whose life was a testament to kindness and compassion, her presence was a gentle beacon of light, forever illuminating the lives she touched.

Kathleen loved fiercely and without reservation—her family was her proudest accomplishment. Her devotion to her sons Vincent (Christy Norrick), Daniel (Shannon) and Douglas (Jennifer) was boundless. She delighted in the laughter and joy of her grandchildren—Taylor, Cara, Piper, Sebastian, and Gavin—and cherished each moment spent creating memories with them. She is survived by her sisters Patricia (dec. Ronald) Luketic and Rosemary Kertis; nieces Patricia (Jim) Fitzpatrick, Jenifer (John) Schreiner, Juliann (Robert) Acevez, Amy (Ryan) Bloom, Monica (Richard) Simpson, Noelle (Tom) Amanns, Marya (Robert) Reynolds, Josephine (Michael) Costanzo, Angeline (Jason) Heidberger, and Ruby (Stuart) Morris; nephews Paul Luketic and Zygmunt (Maria) Gross; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

To her, family gatherings were sacred—filled with lively conversations, homemade decorations, and the warm scent of lovingly prepared meals. Her home was a sanctuary of welcome, open arms, and ever-present smiles. She had an unwavering love for her pets Max, Shadow, Tiger, and Fluffy who were never far from her side and were spoiled by too many treats. She also loved gardening , feeding the birds and other animals, and was devote to her Catholic faith. She was a proud 1960 graduate of Bishop Noll Institute.

She reunites in spirit with those who have gone before—her beloved parents Mildred and Paul Kertis, and numerous friends and relatives. Her gentle patience and welcoming embrace made her a haven for anyone in need—always ready with a kind word or a helping hand. Her smile was constant, a radiant reflection of the generous heart within. She found joy in the simple pleasures—reading, cooking, decorating for every holiday with painstakingly crafted handmade adornments, and reveling in outings filled with friends and family. She had loving heart that embraced the world with patience, kindness, and an indelible smile.

Per Kathleen's wishes, no services will be held. She requested that family and friends each remember her in their own special way.
