Irma Ochoa, age 82 of Gary IN passed away peacefully on December 1, 2021.
She was born in Linares Nuevo Leon, Mexico on November4, 1939 to Rafael and Manuela Salas. She was a longtime resident of Gary. Self-Award-Winning Chihuahua breeder of Northwest Indiana.
She loved spending time with her family. Irma is survived by 4 children: Maria Elena (Benjamin) Maldonado, Daniel (Kathy) Salas, Rafael (Pony Boy) (Jazel) Ochoa, Angie (Carlos) Ochoa.
She was blessed with 13 grandkids, 14 great grandkids and several nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by her sister Enedelia Salas-Zambrana; son Daniel Salas; grandson Cordero Ochoa.
Special thank you to the staff of Valparaiso Care and Rehabilitation for taking care of our mommy.
She will be dearly missed.
