Irma was energetic, quick-witted, a hard worker and always on the go. Her love language was cooking delicious Mexican Cuisine for her family and friends.

Irma played a significant role as a community activist in the City of East Chicago to ensure that Hispanic voices were heard by exercising the voting process. Irma provided tireless efforts to educate our community to get out and vote. Irma leaves a lasting impact within her community, and its leadership. Her determination, solidity, and inclusivity will be left for all to remember.
