Helen "Little Helen" Sajdyk

Helen R. Sajdyk age 98 of East Chicago passed away peacefully Thursday February 22, 2018 at Hammond Whiting Care Center. She is survived by sisters Anna and Lillian. Nephews include James (Kathy) Sajdyk, Richard Sajdyk, and Niece Christel (Dale) Snow. Many great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Valentine and Catherine Sajdyk. Siblings include Rosie, Mary, Leonard, Aloysius, Dolores. A Mass will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at 10am from St. Stanislaus Church, on the corners of 150th and Magoun Ave. with Mgsr. John J. Siekierski officiating. A viewing will be at 9am at the church before Mass.

A private cremation will follow.

Helen attended school at St. Stan’s and Roosevelt High. She worked at St. Anne’s Home in Hammond, Combustion Engineering and the Kosciusko Park Pool both in East Chicago. She was a Lifelong resident of East Chicago in the same home.
