Elisa was born in Guatemala in February 1932 and lived a life defined by love, resilience, and deep devotion to her family. In 1974, she made the journey to South Chicago, where she built a home and a life centered on faith, community, and caring for those around her.
She was a familiar and beloved presence at Auto Arena Car Wash, where she worked for over 15 years. Through her kindness and dedication, she formed meaningful connections and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
On March 27, 2026, Elisa was called to eternal rest. She leaves behind a cherished legacy through her loving children: Ana, Elvia, Liliana, Miriam, and her late daughter, Mirna.
Elisa was the proud grandmother of Anita, Alejandra, Alberto "Junior", Luis Alfonso, Victor, Erik, Steven, Kevin, Emily, Jacqueline, Michelle, Klarrisa, Anthony, Daniel, and Isabella. She was also blessed with 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, along with cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends in the United States and Guatemala who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Elisa will be remembered for her strength, compassion, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence brought comfort and joy, and her legacy will live on through all who knew and loved her.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the thoughts and prayers during this difficult time and invites you to pay your respects and say a final goodbye on April 2nd from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Elisa nació en Guatemala en febrero de 1932 y vivió una vida definida por el amor, la resiliencia y una profunda devoción a su familia. En 1974, emprendió el viaje hacia el sur de Chicago, donde construyó un hogar y una vida centrados en la fe, la comunidad y el cuidado de quienes la rodeaban.
Fue una presencia conocida y querida en Auto Arena Car Wash, donde trabajó durante más de 15 años. A través de su amabilidad y dedicación, formó conexiones significativas y dejó una impresión duradera en todos los que conoció.
El 27 de marzo de 2026, Elisa fue llamada al descanso eterno. Deja un legado entrañable a través de sus amadas hijas: Ana, Elvia, Liliana, Miriam, y su hija fallecida, Mirna.

También fue bendecida con 17 bisnietos y 3 tataranietos, junto con primas, primos, sobrinos, sobrinas y queridos amigos en Estados Unidos y Guatemala que conservarán su recuerdo por siempre en sus corazones.
Elisa será recordada por su fortaleza, compasión y amor inquebrantable por su familia. Su presencia brindaba consuelo y alegría, y su legado vivirá en todos aquellos que la conocieron y la amaron.
