Dolores I. Carlson age 88 of Schererville passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at The Residences of Deer Creek, in Schererville. Those who mourn and cherish her memory Diane (John) Huseman, Jonna Huseman, Karen (Rick) Montez, Denise (Michael) Christensen, Ed Carlson, 3 Grandchildren, Anthony (Amanda) Montez, Michael (Linnea) Kwasny, Lauren Kwasny. Proceeded in death by her husband Edwin G. Carlson, her parents Otho and Lura Lunsford and sister and best friend, Marge Stempkowski. Visitation will be held Monday, July 9th from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Acevez Funeral Home (4918 Magoun Ave., East Chicago, IN). Funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Acevez Funeral Home, with a burial to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.
