Heaven gained another angel, Barbara J Moses passed away peacefully Friday, November 21, 2025 at Hartsfield Village, Munster, IN. surrounded by her loving family.

If you had the pleasure of meeting her throughout her life, then you knew what it was to love her. Regardless of how long she knew you, she was supportive, kind, and loving. She was a believer in God, and most of all a loving mother/grandmother. We apreciate everyone that was aware that has reached out. She was loved by so many people including our father who we are helping thru this very difficult time.

Barbara was born in Hartshorne, OK to the union of Homer Walker and Margaret Golden . She had one brother Homer Walker Jr. who she proceeds in death . Proceeded in death by Margraet Walker, Homer Walker and her sister Diane Walker. She leaves to cherish husband of 56 years Donald Moses Sr. Five sons David and Daniel who passed away from still birth. Three sons Darius Sr (Tasha)and Dedric , Desmond Moses Sr. Three step-children Carla Moses, Donald Jr and Lesia , Wanda (Ferdinand)Smith. Brothers Mark and Virgil Walker. Special sister Toni Walker. 17 grandchildren and a host of step siblings, family and friends.

Barbara was a Manager of Easy Pawn , for more than 20 years.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 2nd from 10am - 1pm at Acevez Funeral Home, 4404 Cameron Ave. Hammond, IN.

A burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary.
