Born on September 9th, 1938 in Mexico City, Mexico to mother Concepcion Ponce De Leon and father Daniel Perez. Armando had two younger siblings Miguel Perez Sr. and Frank Perez. Surviving are his wife Rose Perez, children Armando Perez, Leonardo Perez, Rosa Perez and Vanessa Fernandez (Perez), and grandchildren Angel Nieves, Noe Fernandez Jr., Mirey Fernandez, Nayeli Fernandez and Maya Fernandez. Armando was a United States Navy veteran and Inland Steel retiree after 30 years. "Your wings were ready, but our heart was not"
