Alayah Rose DeLuna

Alayah Rose DeLuna of Chicago, IL was born October 9, 2020 and passed away peacefully with her loving parents by her side on October 11, 2020 at Lurie’s Children’s Hospital of Chicago, IL.

She is survived by her loving parents Elysia Alamillo and Eduardo DeLuna III: Her 3 wonderful sisters Audrey Christine DeLuna, Aria Lynn DeLuna, and Amaryllis Star DeLuna: Her devoted grandparents Jennifer and Ricardo Alamillo and Sue and Martin Cruz: Aunts and Uncles Jasmine (Aaron) Alamillo, Kristen (Yovanny) Alamillo, Ricardo Alamillo, Eric (Kayleen) DeLuna, Martin Cruz, and Malynna Cruz: Great-grandparents Edwin Panek, Norma and Rene Alamillo, and Jean and Robert Garcia.

Our sweet Alayah was beautiful, strong, and loved by everyone around her. Although her time with us was short, Alayah came into this world ready to fight her battles, and she did just that with so much grace.

We’re so proud of our little girl for her strength and will, to beat the odds that were against her. She’s safe in heaven now, and though our hearts are broken, Alayah will forever be remembered and celebrated everyday by those whose lives she touched. Rest peacefully princess.
